If anyone has seen the show "That's Clever" I sent photos & an audition letter to them. GOOD NEWS: They have contacted me and and are coming to my studio at the end of January...I know, "what are they thinking, January?" I am going to be on TV! WOW....ok maintain...WOW! how cool right?
At first they needed another artist in the area to make it "worth the drive out to Antioch" so I told them about some other artists and sent an e-mail out to the AFAF (Antioch Fine Arts Foundation) More good news!: The producers chose Dennis Downes Check out his web site!!! he has some wonderful tribal art as well as a fantastic story and quest for the conservation of the" Trail Marker Trees".
You will all be notified and kept up to date as to how the process will work out. I am sure there will be pictures and of course I will let you know when to tune in to HGTV to watch! I want to thank all who visit my site and any comments you have made about my artwork are always greatly appreciated. (<---see the photos in the galleries) I will be continuing to restructuring my photo galleries and adding new artwork to them over the next few months. There are some very cool sculptural 3-D mixed media paintings and some whimsical furniture pieces I will be adding. Keep checking back & PLEASE leave me comments or sign my guest book!
I have to go now to organize my studio, work on my projects, get my nails done, decide if I want to put streaks in my hair before being on TV..."so much time & so little to do...wait a minute...scratch that, reverse it..OK".
