Ok, for those of you watching this site for changes I am sure you agree it has been like watching GRASS GROW...ouch...ok. Artist gives way to busy mom, but who would have guessed it if you've been reading on this site so far, right? Not to worry I have a fantastic business opportunity coming up in the next year or so. Let's just say it involves coffee, eclectic artwork, and phenomenal pastries. Nuff said for now...
Halloween here was very laid back...lots of kids to give out candy to. My girls were easy this year. I usually get the last minute costume change and have to try and figure out how to make an alien look like a princess or something. Not this time. A couple of dress up dresses with wings and 2 little fairies were born...My oldest raided her closet, we bought a wig and wa-la...her own rendition of Shania Twain! I wanted her autograph...ha-ha.
In the midst of moving into a new house in March, I failed to start painting rooms and decorating until...well, NOW. I have gladly volunteered myself for way too many projects in the past and neglected to have our house reflect any of the style or artwork I love to create.
SO...with that said, in the last month I have painted the entire downstairs of our home...notice I now call it a HOME. Amazing what a little color on the walls will make you feel like. Granted I went from a "brandy red" colored wall surrounding my fireplace to a more warm & rich "chocolate" (hey I am female) I wasn't too keen on the "angry" wall. The kitchen is now void of the birdhouse wallpaper border...not my thing... and painted a nice peach...not pastel but a warm Mexican pottery peach. Goes great with the rooster collection! The entry bathroom is a screaming bright crayola YELLOW with moons & stars in cobalt blue and other primary colors. Fun! It was so closet-like tiny that this helped brighten the space. I will be hosting Christmas Eve & Christmas for the family here so I had to do something...right? (pictures will be up soon!)
UPDATE!!!
Just found out that Jeff Dunham's LIVE
DVD is now slated to be released on April 18, 2006. Almost exactly 1 year ago that I met him and helped with the creation of his newest character's wardrobe "Sweet Daddy Dee". He is featured on the
DVD and I am still grateful for having been given the creative opportunity! Thanks Jeff!
onastick.com as usual I do have to sleep sometime so...that’s all, for now, folks!
KCB = Keep Checking Back!

Have a great Thanksgiving!
